Get any rubbing with that? I installed mine a while ago but rubbed too much and needed to do the body chop but havent gotten around to it yet. I ended up taking mine off.

No rubbing as of yet, but I'm not lifted and long story, I only have 255's.

I'm looking at $150 but I also asked them to do some extra cleaning around the hoop weld since it looked nasty, I should of located a tig welder for that job.

I haven't picked it from PC yet, they are the same guys that coat Shrockworks fabrications, I'm looking at next week for them to call me. Yes I had a bull bar welded on top. I'm going to have to cut diagonal as well on the top of the plastic bumper.

I used Trail Gear Light bar kit 120209-1-kit
Not sure how it will look with the bumper covering the top lip but I'll have to do some precision razor cuting and fine dremeling. I may add a light in between the bar, we shall see.

When you first said that the welding was bad, I at first thought you had to touch-up some of the work that C4 had done. From what I've read, their welding is superb so I was surprised.

I also purchased the same kit from Trailgear, I cut 1” off of tube vertical to fit to width of top of bumper. I plan on cutting original bumper mounts down and adding a plate I made to match C4 mounting plate. That should bring me forward and out to avoid cutting plastic as you are planning. It should also cover the lower valence “horns” that trail versions end up protruding. This is all in theory of course since it’s still out to powder coat. Keep y’all posted!

You could technically install the center Trail valance cover over the SR5 bumper if you precisely cut the slot holes and use the same valance clip. I've overlapped it on the SR5 bumper and it's pretty snugged. Too late now unless you are willing to build me another plate and I'll send you monies.

Nice video, car jack would have made lifting the bumber in to place a ton easier! Also makes it easy to do adjustments. I put a piece of wood inbetween.

I thought about doing the same, but my brother in law was over so figured i would just man it on to the frame.

The Trail has to stick out further than the SR5/Limited to line up with the plastic Trail center valance.

When I took the trail center valance bumper apart it looked almost like the SR5 bumper skin, even the lower grill cut out was the same measurement. This tells me there is a difference in length between the two models, I'm sure C4 can confirm this.
