5th Gen 4Runner will Surpass all Known Generation Sales Benchmarks

For comparison basis, would anyone considered adding in the FJ numbers to the T4R numbers for the 4gen.

I figured the 4Gen T4R lost sales to the FJ crowd.

Without a current FJ model, folks could be migrating back to the T4R.

Looked at the FJ, bought the 4Runner. Much more space without the stupid suicide doors and obscured rear vision of the FJ. We use the storage space all the time and have slept in the 4Runner while camping. Can’t do that in the FJ.

I have friend who works for Toyota (I know everyone has a source or friend) but he told me no V8 will be cominG for 4Runner. In fact, he claims Toyota is looking to take away V8 in the Tundra go with V6 with some type of turbo. Much like the American market trucks. Raptor he mentioned specifically. He also mentioned no new model until 2020 at the earliest. Current gen selling to well and Toyota takes the approach not broke don’t fix it attitude.
