5th gen Aluminum Storage Panles

Love that they are aluminum (weight and corrosion resistant) for this application. They are on my build list.

I don't think the aluminum will be the weak link here. More so the limited number of mounting hardware that all three companies have to deal with.

Price is at $300.00 Less than others with powder coating.

The thing is while powder coating is pretty tough I will be hard mounting stuff, and those bolts and threads will cut right through it. I would rather have some raw alum. showing that raw steel with rust over time.

Just a small observation...correct me if I'm wrong

When you are looking into the cargo area and view the panels, the "TR4" appears to be readable on the passenger side, but is facing out on the driver's side panel? I would think that they'd be stamped to both be readable from the inside view.

Just something that would drive me nuts visually.

That said, I really like these and considering ordering, just need to know about the stamping.

This would slowly kill me.

These things loose me at the lower mounting points. There no way I’d give up the retractable cargo cover.

Ordered a set on Black friday and just got them installed.

The product itself is great. light weight, high quality production.

did not come with instructions though, and takes a bit of time to align them to look perfectly nice and even.

Overall they are great and I would buy again.

Thanks so much for the review. I do have the installation instructions posted in the product description. Maybe I should start including them in the box as well. Glad to hear you were able to make it work without them.
