5th gen calipers

Kinda of a cross gen question about guys in 4th gen converting their brakes over to our set up rotors , pads, calipers & the question is has anyone had any type of failures with calipers over the years ? No probs what so ever with mine ! Just curious because guys over there reporting some breakdowns . :vader: plus my son's 05 might be getting this upgrade !

Changed mine on an 06. No issues on mine. I should have changed them sooner.

So judging by lack of , not to many failures ? Wonder why they're failing on the 4th's ?

No issues on with mine, there is a thread with people claiming they have a stuck piston and the dealership is quoting some pretty high replacement costs, but I've never seen one.

Ya not sure how many over on 4th have failed seems like it's a piston here or there locking up/frozen ! Think it's a East Coast rust/salt issue ?

That could be, no salt used on the roads here in Oregon...well until last year for the first time ever. Supposedly they are "testing" it. WTF? They don't need to "test" Just call the east coast, they can give you all the data you need.

More like the auto industry is paying for the salted roads so they can sell more products.
