wtb: Damaged '14+ sr5/trail bumper. Top portion of grill must be in good condition. Bottom portion of bumper can be damaged.

Anyone parting a 5th gen out? I need to replace the dome light housing due to damage from an LED that burned up. I ordered a replacement from Toyota but it doesn't come with the metal piece that taps into the wiring and holds the bulb. They say that piece is part of the entire wiring harness that runs to the roof and want an additional 160 bucks. Hopefully someone here can help.

Can you explain how, or maybe even why, the LED bulb burned, damaged the light? Brand name?
I've been looking to replace my interior bulbs with LEDs.
I'd imagine that the heat sink wasn't sufficient and that there was some defect in the chip that caused too much resistance/heat to build up, but that's just a theory. I documented the issue a bit in this thread.
