I've got a lot of interest in the headlights and few offers, Just waiting on me to figure out if I really want to ship them or not. I always get weary of shipping headlights with how badly packages are treated.

Yeah I can imagine you’d be weary of shipping them. Well if the sales fall through and you make the decision to ship, I can immediately send you payment. I need a headlight solution haha. Given that you have some current offers, would you mind PMing me (or replying here) about where you got these done and the cost? I need something brighter than these stock headlights and I’m tired of pissing people off with my HIDs haha.

They sell for that much used with 40K miles on the clock? We all know the aftermarket stuff is worth 1/2 the cost new when used if you're lucky. I paid $33,900 for my 2016 SR5 brand new out the door said and done, had 8 miles on it. IMO I'd rather start new and know what's done and know it's done right.

I think the cost heavily depends on location. From what I saw looking for my 4R these things go for a premium in the Bay Area. There are 2015 SR5s with 40K going for the price you bought yours for brand new. It's just the market here I guess.

I get that, however this is a Trail with nearly $11k in mods.

Even at half the cost that's over $5k in value

I gave $36,900 for my 2015 TE in Colorado Springs with 4 miles on the clock. But if there was a truck with Hefty bumpers on it....I would have bought it. lol

any modifications on a vehicle only diminish the value unless it is sold to a VERY specific crowd and seller has a VERY specific reputation.
I see people who don't get that all the time at the dealerships I work with..

You do realize we build and sell off road toyota vehicles right? Lol

A lot of people say what you say, but that applies to dealers. We did a 2017 Tundra build (for a local dealer) and it brought an extra $11k so clearly mods do not lower the value, you just don’t get 1:1 when selling used or trading in.

you guys throw a 1500$ kit and 3k in wheels/tires and GOUGED THE SHIT out of a poor customer huh? see that shit all the time. dealers charge 4k for a dam bracket lift kit.

While I agree that dealers add extra parts and then charge big prices for it, no one forced them to buy it. If the "poor customer" agreed to buy the overpriced vehicle from the dealer then they must have felt that it was a fair price. You don't have to agree with it, just be happy that you know "better" than to pay that much.

Mods are a personal preference. You're better off returning it to stock and selling the upgrades separately unless you are doing a build for a specific customer... which is probably why its been siting. for so long.

I see that a discussion started on here I was also thinking that the truck has been sitting forever because of the mods, and because most ppl would rather buy stock, but that's only good for me right, since I like the way it was done (mostly). If everything works out we might be joining the 4Runner family soon, as long as I can convince the wife that it's the perfect daily driver for her

We don't do cheap Junk builds, we sponsor and build vehicles for every major Toyota event in the US.

When we are asked to build a vehicle, it is ALWAYS with high end parts that we ourselves run and sell. Look at any of our personal builds in our albums and you can see you what I am talking about. We don't do spacer lifts, we do not do wheels and tires, we do builds... Winch bumpers, roof racks, air compressors, solar power, snorkels, sliders, lockers, armor and a handful of other useful modifications for off road use, not for looking pretty.

You clearly think I'm someone I am not, so I guess we will just part ways as friends and you can hold on to your opinion of us for as long as you wish.

FWIW, when I see a 4runner with a spacer lift, yakama basket, rock star wheels and nitto tires.... I know the sales manager chose the "build" components, I shake my head and cringe at the price.

Gobi Roof Rack & Ladder: New-still in the shipping crate.

I received my Gobi rack and I've decided I don't want it as much as I thought I did. It's still wrapped up on the shipping crate that it was delivered on. I have not opened it. It is setup for a 40" light bar (not included) and a sunroof opening (insert not included). I will post a pic of the invoice below so you can see the details.

I am located in Ardmore, Ok. This is right between Oklahoma City and Dallas right off I-35. It must be picked up at my house. I will not meet you anywhere.

The price is $1750. Yes, I'm aware this is $155 more than what I paid for it.

I seriously considered your rack but I don't want to drive to OK and pay a premium. You might consider loosening your terms/demands and it may sell within minutes. A Gobi rack in a similar situation sold here in San Antonio in about 5 minutes a few weeks ago. The seller asked for MSRP and I think he was willing to drive a bit to meet the purchaser. I lost out by a minute.
