Hi everyone, feel free to make fun of my search skills if i missed the answer here or anywhere else on the net. My research so far is showing the 5th gen rotors are 338mmx32mm instead of 338mmx28mm (sport and some limiteds) and the 5th gen caliper pistons are 4x48mm instead of 4x45.5mm. Has anyone looked into whether these will physically bolt up to our 4th gens?
Optional background: I am perfectly satisfied with the braking on my 2005....so much so that i am considering upgrading my solid axle truck to the same brakes using the front range off road brake adapter (the $129 version)...while looking at the 2005 brake specs, i checked out the 5th gen brake specs and saw they were different...if the mounting is similar, the 5th gen brakes would also work with the fror adapter and i would use them on my solid axle instead of 4th gen stuff. I haven't asked the guys at fror yet, because i thought i would try here first.
