5th gen on Metal Cloak CTI Trailer

Metal Cloak happen to be passing by in NJ and was kind enough to set up for everyone to get on and flex. After searching the forums, google, and youtube- it looks like either 5th gen guys(or 4runners in general) either never been on a CTI trailer before OR dont post their score. I dont see any info on the forums either.

What is a CTI trailer? Its a Corner Travel Index trailer, it basically measures how much flex your truck has, or in other words- A suspension DYNO.

I scored a 520- Being that i have nothing to compare it to and the fact they thought it was good for IFS truck, ill take it. Compared to a "decently" setup jeep- this is a low number, a decent jeep is in the 7-800 range and monster jeeps in the 1000+ range. Cannot compare a jeep to a IFS since there are setup completely different. The number does not mean what your truck can do on a trail either. Its like having a 1000 HP car and getting beat by a 600 HP car. A lot of different factors and of course driver mod goes a long way.:lookout:

Any one have any experience on a CTI trailer post it up! lets get some numbers out and lets get these numbers higher! i know i want to break 600 now so time to get the work!:sniper::sniper:

Looks like your bumper is mighty close to touching your fender in that one photo.

Cool to see how much the bumper moves with flex though.
