Honestly, I think it would look way better without my aftermarket bumper. My bumper covers it to the point there is no angle from the front you can see the whole word. Only from the side.

I like option 2 better also. But the wife liked the big letters.
They are PRG lights, they are avail on our website (with red ring). I sandblasted the red off and meet them raw aluminum.

Anyone interested in ordering the Raptor Grille from Homertaco? He needs a total of 5 or 6 to run a batch of them. He has myself and one other thus far on the list and we need about 4 more in order for him to get started. Anyone interested, send Homertaco a PM on the Tacoma forum. I think these grills are absolutely awesome with the big letters.

Option #4 the older 80's Land Cruiser emblem seems a little bigger than the one you've got. Maybe I am wrong, little hard to tell.
I personally like the classic Toyota emblem and would want nothing to do with something that came from a different branded truck, just sayin'. Its a Toyota not a Ford.

Nothing in the raptor mod comes from a ford, I'm not sure if you were joking or really thought we would put ford parts on our trucks. The grille is made by Craig and it resembles the style of grille used in the raptor.
The old LC logo is larger and I have considered it also, but I have to wait to see if Craig even makes any more.
As you can see nothing even truly looks like or matches the ford grille, it just uses the same bold design.

It is just that the style was first associated with a ford, why make your toy resemble a design template from a ford, thats all.
I like the actually grille it in itself doesn't fully say "raptor" too me, add the font/text/emblem too closely resembles raptor.
It is like slapping TRD on a ford, just doesn't make sense to me. Just my opinion and you know what they say about those

The whole key is to make it how you like it. I personally like the big letters. I love the raptor style grill and want to get one from Craig asap. I know he has a list going and needs a few more names to make a batch. Message Homertaco on the Tacoma forum and let him know that you want one of these grills.

The mesh having 4 bends in it looks a bit more like a modded satoshi, that is all I am getting at. The big blocky "toyota" text I do not. at that point it starts looking like a ford. Does that help with your headache?
