I tried and tried to convince the wife that a van would make more sense but liked that badassery of the 4Runner. She being a Hawaiian girl also wants to stay Hawaiian as possible and drive only 4runners and Toyota’s. Now here we are 19mpg average and pain in the ass access 3rd seats. Terrible accerlation. But I welcome it like an adopted infant. What??
lol sorry but no. As an owner of a Honda Odyssey, the 4Runner isn't even close to being able to replace the functionality of a minivan.
My Odyessy has way better gas mileage, much more cargo room comfortable seating for 6-7 people, low load floors (very important for little kids), factory rear seat entertainment (very important for parents), drives like a car and of course has the power sliding doors.
I wouldn't trade my 4Runner for it, but it cannot in any way replace my minivan.![]()
