5th Gen side mirror question

I had purchased a while back a pair of aftermarket side mirrors that were heated and had turn signal and puddle lights in them.
these were supposed to be for my 2010 Tacoma but never got around to putting them on..

NOW I have a 2012 4 Runner and it already has heated side mirrors.. question is would these new ones I have simply bolt on and plug in and WORK? I see some 4 Runners with the turn signals in them and like that look. I guess the biggest PIA would be removing the door panel.

forgot to add they are replacement mirrors for the 2010-2013 4 runners..

What model is your 2012, SR5, Trail, or L.E.? NOT all the same! You don't have to remove the door panel to R&R the sideview mirrors: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/2294986-post50.html

...I don't know if the 2010 Taco and the 4Runner are the same!

From what I read (somewhere) , the turn signal wires are not included in all the doors. You "might" be able to put the mirrors on, and you might be able to get the puddle lights to work, but - as I heard - if you don't run new T-signal wires up into the doors, you wont have the signals lights (the repeaters) work.
