I really would like a sliding tray. Would this mod be able to hold the rates 440 lbs? Anyone sit on it with another person yet like a tailgate see how it holds up? Thanks for this thread!

They are beefy. I bought mine several years ago from another member on here and installed it myself. I've sat a couple of peeps at a time on it while extended, and my Nomad kitchen setup extends out from the fully extended sliding tray with no sweat. I think it's a brilliant option, and it gives me some tool storage underneath as well when closed.

RoadWarrior - tried twice to PM you but didn't look like it worked. I'm sorry - I've gotta get at least $700 for it to cover the parts to get the cargo area back to stock. And it's heavy - would take a day to wrap and ship this thing.

The ones that hold the 2 brackets down are 6x1 - got mine at the local hardware store - nothing special about them.

Measurements of the tray?

Weird question but can anybody throw a tape on the tray assembly itself and provide the dimensions? I won one in an eBay auction from a salvage yard 300 miles away and I'm debating flying up to get it in a small aircraft instead of paying the guy $300 to freight ship it to me. But I have to know that it will definitely fit through the door of the plane.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I assume the tray assembly is the largest and most rigid piece (and thus the limfac of getting through the door)? The floor liner looks at least a little flexible in the pics but if I'm wrong please tell me.

Tray size

Just threw a tape on mine: 42.5 wide by 31-3/8 long. It's also more than an inch in depth, so keep that in mind if it is close.

I know this is an old thread, but try Facebook Marketplace. I found my slide for $400. She had removed it and kept everything to reinstall in my rig.
