2010-2017 4RUNNER HIDDEN WINCH MOUNT



Hidden Winch Mount fits behind the factory bumper valance and houses up to a 10K pound winch.

Winches must have divorced solenoids. A solenoid mounting plate is included for mounting the solenoid behind the grille if desired.

Minor cutting of plastic valance is required

Optional Flipster license plate mount is sold separately for relocating the license plate- for states that require a front license plate (HERE)

I don't have photos of it mounted on a 10... it's going to look the same on any rig based on the design.

It doesn't offer recovery points-the focus of our product was to offer winch provisions; we encourage all customers looking for recovery points, to invest in the strength of a full plate bumper

Can anyone tell me what winches they paired with their hidden mounts? Wireless seems like a good idea...Also, any troubles with spooling? Clutch? Finally, despite the manufacturer's spec that a stock suspension will do, one member was kind enough to tell me otherwise...thoughts???

I'm getting ready to mount mine pretty soon here. Still too cold in New York to be laying on the ground. Hoping that will change in the next couple of weeks.

I have a question regarding the bag of nuts and bolts I got with it. Are they all necessary ?

The installation should be pretty straight-forward especially considering I've already had my front end and bumper pulled off mocking up a different setup.

I'll do a mock-up tomorrow to see what's what regarding bolting the winch to the plate. When I do the actual install I'll post up some pics.

I like it especially due to low weight and for those of us not planning to go crazy off-roading. It would be nice if the front plate (that one where the winch is mounted) would be longer to allow for recovery points.

pelfreybilt - do you have a plan do do it? I understand this is a business decision and I think you can gage the interest by running a presale group buy on the forum.

After talking with the team, we don't have plans on changing the mount. We wanted to keep it as factory looking as possible. Adding those additional recovery points would remove the hidden look.

After looking over my Hidden Winch Mount my questions are:

What are the eight 5/8" bolts for? I assume the four 1 1/4" bolts are for bolting the top sliding plate to the base plate but don't see where the 8 stubby bolts go.

What are the hex spacers for?

What are these slots for? See pic below.

BTW I left a voicemail with your shop last week but never got a call back.
