5th gen with boss coilovers adjustment and alignment

I have read quite a bit of information on this but nothing directly answers my question. I just got the toytec 3" boss lift kit installed. The installer did not take dimensions so when I got home I checked it and the drivers side sits 1" lower than the passenger side.
1) If I raise the driver's side 1" will I need a front end alignment again?
2) if instead of just raising the driver's side and I split the difference by lifting drivers side a 1/2" and passenger lower 1/2", will I need to redo the front end alignment?

I really don't feel like getting into the arguement with them that they should have checked this before they had the alignment done. That is why you go to a so called professional for an install.

I know.......I should have done it myself but it's gotten a bit cold here to do it in my driveway. That's my excuse.

Well, you should tell your "so-called professional" about the screw-up, and have them figure out why it happened. You may have another problem in the front end.

But yes, any height changes on either side (or both) will require a new alignment.
