My little sister was impressed with my videos from The Cove offroad/camping adventure so she wanted me to be able to offroad any time I want. Check out my own mini offroad adventure park, lol!

Do those tires rub? How much did you pay out the door? How much of a drop in mileage did you get after the coloured paint job?

Santa was very good this year. Received a Viair 300P Portable Compressor, a Better Built SUV Storage Drawer, and 2 - 20" LED Light Bars.

Bought myself a Hayden 678 Trans Cooler that I am going to install over the weekend along with the light bars.

Nice! Look into getting some FJ D Rings instead of using the plastic hooks on the back part of the ceiling, the rings are metal and a lot sturdier.

Assuming since you're not going to shove a lot of weight up there, the factory stuff should be okay. It wouldn't matter if you used FJ D-Rings really because unless you reinforced the section it bolts to, it'd be just as weak as the plastic hooks. If you look at much of the handles and other components on the roof you'll see that they mostly use plastic expanding blocks to secure them vs. something like a properly sized Rivnut with good bolt.

I might be over thinking it, but I keep mine tied to the turn signal stalk. Accessible by both hands with very little movement.

Pretty Low key gifts, but I bought front and rear weathertechs and a gift card for a tint.

My father took delivery of a 2016 Trail on the 16th, so we got him Weathertechs for all three areas, four normal lug nuts (didn't want/like the locking nuts) and a 3" toy yoda for his mascot.

Then got to drive it home from Albany after family Xmas festivities. Miss having a 4Runner. Plotting has begun...

You'll like that, I'd suggest getting some spare valve cores just in case. If you get the ARB Tire repair kit it has them. Practice with it before you go out, unlike me...

Those deflators are fantastic. Practice with it a few times before you get out there (it's easy to use, but I've seen people get real confused and loose the valve stem, which can end up being a bit of a disaster).

The difference in performance with lower pressure is night and day. I would probably drop to 17ish, but you will need to experiment a bit to see what works best for your setup.

Yeah, this is why if I ever had the option to buy a Ferrari I wouldn't. Because I'd literally pull up to the dealer with an 18-wheeler, unload it and then tear the entire vehicle down to nuts and bolts and rebuild it stronger, faster, and better in front of their horrified Italian faces.

I can't leave well enough alone. I bought myself a little .22LR Takedown when I was recovering from my finger being almost severed and before the 10day waiting period was up I had a laundry list of mods to do on my "cheapy plinker" that tripled what I paid for it.

Can't leave much of anything "Stock." It's a sickness, a fun one... but it drains my piggy bank!
