Since we started shipping the 5th Gen scheel-mann seat mounting kits we get all sorts of different questions because until we came on the scene there was no way to put a scheel-mann Vario seat into a 5th Gen AND not have your dashboard look like a xmas tree.
Well we solved that with our mounting solution:

But it seems we get asked about the airbag proxy the most and why they need and what it does. So to make our lives easier we wrote an article about it:
Understanding Airbag Proxies: The Practical Guide for the Aftermarket World
The gist of it is the airbag proxy tells the SRS system to continue function correctly after an airbag has been removed. Now when you are removing seats you need more than that because there are other sensors in play but this little guy at least removes the error fault code.
