I ordered an ARB awning and decided to get the "room" as well, seemed more practical for me given various usages... May still get an RTT down the road but I have multiple tents already so didn't really want to spend the coin for that given how tight I'd expect it with the kiddos.
And for the record the CBI bumper was from insurance not a present, as I had to point out to the wife...

So, I just remembered that I never got out to take any pictures of the 4Runner attic.
One catch that I ran into is that the tabs that hold it up in the rear go behind the coat hooks, not around them. I spent a while trying to get the tabs over the hooks, and even cut one of the holes larger before I got in touch with Blue Ridge Overland Gear to find out how it was supposed to mount. :frusty:
Thankfully, Matt from Blue Ridge Overland Gear was awesome and agreed to send me a replacement for the tab that I cut, since they had not published instructions for installation yet.

This is the bolt (10 mm) to remove the coat hooks:
The mounting holes for the coat hook on the roof. The tab has a slot cut that matches up with these holes. One is for the bolt, the other is for a post on the coat hook:
The tab installed with nothing attached:
How the front mounts to the grab handles:

Good to see him finally get around to this. What are your overall impressions of it?

It's a little lower over the back seat than I expected, but overall it seems pretty well made. I haven't had a chance to use it for anything yet, buts its a good way to take advantage of otherwise unused space.
