6" Fabtech FJ kit installed on 4th Gen T4R

Not my personal truck but one I saw when cruising up on the Northshore of Oahu. I talked to the lady who owned it. She said the 6" Fabtech lift is for the FJ but they modified the rear links to make it work. I don't care the rim/tire set-up, especially the 20's but it did look mean overall!

I agree, minus the wheels and tires it's kind of cool.

Even in the truck world guys would run Cognito, BDS, and a few others but not a whole lot running Fabtech's.

Fab tech used to be a good company but their quality has gone down hill over the past 6-8 years. They are comparable to pro comp, rough country, etc. nothing special

Edit* Im not saying they are a bad company or their lift kits are bad, they make good kits but they are just standard similar to the brands above. I had a 6" Fab Tech on my 02 Z71 I had years ago and it was a GREAT kit! Alignment was always perfect and in spec, strong, etc. They used to try to be more innovative in their designs, etc. I don't see that anymore, thats more ICON and other companies but I think they are way to over priced lol.

I had a fabtech kit on my previous truck before I made it into mid travel. It was a great kit, nothing wrong with it at all and nowhere as cheap as rough country quality. I beat the piss out of it and it never had an issue.

Some of the people here and their opinion on things are beyond ridiculous and dated.

I just recently sold my 06' Taco 4x4 with 6" Fabtech. It was a solid kit. My only complaint was the bigger knuckle/spindle included in the kit that limits the turning radius.

This 4Runner is no way clearing those 35's in the front. I barely cleared 33's with my Fabtech on the Taco.
