600# lift springs for 6112 struts

Long and short - I just picked up a 2015 Pro and I'm wanting to go with the 6112/5160 setup. I'd like to find some 600# (or close to stock Pro spring rates) front coils that lift ~2.5" to pair with Wheelers T13 or a similar Dobinsons rear spring. All I can find is 650+ and since I don't have any extra front end weight, I'm not wanting that high of spring rates. I plan to add sliders soon but don't think just that and my roof rack is enough to demand 650+ spring rates.

Does anyone know of any 3" inner diameter coil springs on the market in that range that will provide approximately 2.5" of lift?

You're in luck because the 6112's come with 600 lb springs. Are the coilovers on your Pro damaged? The 6112's are a good coilover but I think they would be a little bit of a downgrade from the TRDP coilovers that are on your 4runner now.

They do come with 600lb springs, but they only achieve lift by preload/raising the perch. I've already pre-ordered the Dobinsons 1" lift TRD springs, but am forecasting for the future weight that I'm likely to add to the nose.

I want to see if anyone makes 600 lb springs that would lift, while leaving the 6112's on the bottom perch setting (to maximize travel ability). This would be ideal so that if I do with an aluminum bumper or SSO slimline with my synthetic winch, it'll handle the extra load well, as my 5100/Toytec 3" lift on my '13 SR5 rode well with the winch/hidden mount on the nose.

The 6112's come with 14" x 3" 600# springs. You could try using 16" x 3" 600# springs. Not sure if they would be too long and cause some coil bind on full compression though. Either way, the 6112's only offer so much travel, at any perch height, actually a hair less than the 5100's.

If you add weight to the front that causes it to sag, the best way to correct for that change is to increase spring rate.

Turns out the FJ TTU (TRD) springs are 14" 600# springs. That may be the ticket to provide ~1" of lift on a Pro and support a half bumper/winch on the nose (using stock TRD Pro struts).

The aftermarket 6112's have to use the same perch height as the FJ then to provide 0 lift on a Pro with their 14" x 3" springs, since Pros are 13" x 3"

Just go up a notch and be done with it.. Really won't affect your travel or ride in any significant way.

Lowest setting, 600# coils, with the 1/2” spacer installed.
