6112 Front Shock and Spring Set Installation Help...

BIL 47-259768 6112 front shock and spring set.
2015 4Runner.

Question... I could not use my own spring compressor because of the close proximity of the shock tube to the inner radius of the spring and therefore brought it down to a local shop to have them compress spring and install shock and OEM top plate. They inadvertently installed the springs with the Bilstein lettering upside down... on both. The springs seem to be symmetrical in that the winding of coils are not... at least to my eye... progressive. Should I bring them back to have them assembled with spring lettering right side up... or is it of little consequence..? Nothing in the installation instructions mentioned spring orientation.. just curious...

Thanks

Spring Orientation

So I’ll answer my own question with Bilstein technical response...

Thanks for purchasing our product. The 6112 kit #47-259768 uses a linear rate coil spring with identical ends. It does not matter which orientation they are installed. Neither way will influence performance or durability.

Thanks again.

There is a video out there detailing a change out where the guys says to orient the springs with the words facing up... the words are small but in the end it doesn’t matter as per the above.. so use this as a reference if you’re installing the specified kit #47-259768

Thanks for looking...
