Guys please tell me some one else has run into a problem with finding the correct bearings for the carrier. The cups that were removed are wider than the cups in the kit. I orders a kit for my 87 4 cylinder, could the dif be from a V6?
Found a good list which is very helpful except I still can't find the correct cup.
I have an 87 4 cyl and it shouldn't be this difficult to get the right parts. The kit I bought has a bearing/ cup combo that would require the addition of shims between the bearing and the carrier but they didn't supply the shims.
9036845002 is the Toyota bearing which I hope is the correct width cup. I would prefer not having to add stacks of shims.
Ordered at the local dealer vs. buying online. Finally the correct cup and bearing and no need to shim the heck out of it. The bummer I could have gone on line to one of the Toyota sites and saved about $20. Still puzzled why several companies that kit these things package the wrong bearings.
