i think the part number is 87139-47010 i brought one the other day for what i dont really know my truck has only 3000miles

It worked $16.88, there is also a note about a new part number 871394701083 for the future.

wow $70 to change the ac filter! just buy the filter and I'll change it for you for FREE! take about 5 min. I can probably do it blind folder!:dancin:

that's funny. I had the same situation this weekend. Same price too. I decided to bypass that and check here to see what other people have done.

One other thing. I called a dealer today because their online parts coupon had one filter for $13 and another for $60. The guy said that the one for $60 is for the part and installation service. The part alone is $13.

$17 for one filter maybe is not worth making your own, but remember you cut up one furnace filter and get 3 or 4 4runner cabin filters out of it along with some blood from your fingers

Very True....

I bought one furnace filter for $17 and got 4 cabin filters out of it.
Took all of about 10 minutes max. Saved $51, not a lot of money but that will fill the gas tank and then some.
