Here's one from Toyota of Smithfield in RI. No one should do business with these dealerships. Pure price gouging. Who would pay this? When the market comes back to reality soon, you would have lost some serious money.

Blame the dealer all you want, but if suckers weren't willing to pay, this ADM stuff would disappear soon enough.

P.S. Nobody here is going to turn down trade in offers that are more than they bought their vehicles for. Don't be hypocrites.

That $23,000 markup is more than I paid for my used 2004 V8 Limited in 2007.

You could buy a half decent new car for that $23k.

Indeed. How many people would agree to limit their asking price when they sell their home to the original purchase price? Sellers sell for whatever buyers will pay.

Can't say I disagree at all...it's one of those, don't hate the player, hate the game situations for sure. Which is also why I drove 2 hours out of state to buy my 2021 TRD ORP for less than MSRP.

You're comparing corporations selling thousands of products for one of the largest corporations in the world to a single person/family selling one of the most expensive things they'll ever own, once. Totally the same.

and if i had the coin, and the cahonez, id go buy a nicely built LC200, drive back to that dealership, and find the guy who put that sticker up...and say no thanks, ill take this one instead for 20k less...

Auf wiedersehen, baby

I bought it guys! It feels like I may have over paid.. but the dealer promised to ship me some all-weather mats. Plus its a really rare color. Black. I should be able to flip this in a month for probably $100k.

Be sure and get them to throw in nitrogen in the tires for only $150.
