Hi guys. I have an 84 4runner YN60, with a 3Y and 5spd manual.
Ever since I've had it, theres been a charging issue.
Charge light is on and has been for ever.
Alternator has been reco'd.
External voltage regulator has been replaced with a non-gen item.
Fuses checked and I've discovered a relay in the right kick panel that is stuffed and terminals are corroded, but I'm not sure what it's for as I have no diagram for the kick panel fuse box. Could this be related?
I have a workshop manual which hasn't really helped as yet.
If anyone has any ideas or advice it would be so very helpful.
