85 4runner Rear Differential Question

I just bought my 85 4runner and need to replace the rear differential fluid and I am not sure whether it has a limited slip or not this is my first 1st gen or what type of Gear Oil I need to use. could anyone help me out with this?
Also on my way home from picking it up I noticed I had knocked it in 4 high and been running down the interstate and worried I may have messed it up nothing seems to be running strange but I am still worried. The front lockers were not engaged at the time and I checked the 4wd when I got home and it is still engaging. Should I be worried?
It appears there is a leak in the rear diff where the drive shaft and rear diff meet which I have been told that is an easy fix I plan on doing it this coming weekend can anyone give me any tips?

There was no factory locker or limited slip for the first gen trucks, so unless you have reason to believe someone put an aftermarket one in, don't worry about it. If you do think there might be one, or you just really have to know, pull your rear third and have a peek inside.

Don't sweat it. I use 4lo with the hubs unlocked when I'm descending and want to control my speed. As long as you aren't driving around like that all the time, it won't hurt anything. Also, your "front lockers" aren't lockers - don't mistake manual locking hubs for a differential locker, two very different things.

That'd be your rear pinion seal. I haven't done that one myself, but I'm sure who has will be along shortly.
