I got a problem with no fuel on cylinder 2 and have already done a injector but i got a harness that runs from the coil to the underside of the intake that has been burnt by the manifold and was wondering if that could have anything to do with it cause the haynes book doesnt say what that harness is for

I don't know except in theory, but if the harness that's burnt includes the signal wire from the ECU to #2 injector, it might not fire. You can probe the back side of the injector electrical connector with a test light and see if you get a flash everytime the cylinder hits. which would mean continuity from the ECU to the injector. But if you just replaced the injector with a new one, its a good bet your burnt harness is the problem. Get a FSM from Toyo- the Haynes book aint worth much.

The 2 & 4 injectors share a wire, and it comes directly from the ECU. Best test of wires is to disconnect the 2 & 4 injectors and use a multimeter to test for continuity between the posts on each injector.

I spent 3 months troubleshooting a dead cylinder and it turned out to just need a drop of solder on the injector connector...

Good luck!
