86 SR5 22RE Idles fine but surges off idle to full throttle

As the title says .It sounds like if you held an engine at about 1500 to 2000 rpms and cut the ignition off and on but as soon as you let go of the throttles it drops to idle and will idle just fine We have replaced the tps ,fuel filter ,fuel pump.Checked gap of signal gen. , coil ohms is ok .Not sure about igniter or the computer or MAS . We had a timing light hooked to it to watch the ignition and it is sparking during this surging . Any one ever had something like this . Arnie

I cant believe some one hasnt had this problem before .Any way its running right now but have no clue what fixed it .We took some things off to inspect them and put them back on and its working ok now .:noidea:

Is while in neutral or park? Or with a load like accel on road?

Neutral and under load .Wouldnt hardly move under load . Arnie

One thing i do remember doing while we had the MAS off and checking the OHMs ,i moved the air door back and forth .I wonder if that thing was stuck .

Sounds like a misfire check spark plug wires for arcing. Or wire boot connections loose or corroded, and also the dizzy cap.

In neutral it stutters so it doesn't over rev I thought for a while mine was missing
