Anyone know the size of the lower control arm bolt? Alignment shop couldn't break it loose and I'm pretty they will end up breaking them. Thanks!

i cant help with the size, but they are a special bolt. with cam built into the nut. you cant really just replace it with a regular bolt.

also, make sure they are trying to turn the BOLT, and not the nut. the cam/nut wont turn, until the bolt is loosened.

Technically the lobe is on the bolt. :wink2: Soak them with penetrating oil for a day or two and then go at it again. You can also have them heat them up with a torch but I would be fairly impressed if you snapped those things. Pretty large bolts. I probably got an extra set laying around if you;re that paranoid about it.

My cam bolts were seized and I had to cut them with my angle grinder. You can get replacements from Toyota (I think they were $12 each) or if you're cheap like me, you can pull some off another Yota in the junk yard. I found some on a second gen that were easy to remove and fit just fine.
