Does anyone know if the PSP from other years will fit for an 88' ? I have a leak coming from my PSP and have been trying to get a replacement pump from some auto parts store but with my luck all have said they have pumps To/87 and none From/87. My production date on my door jam show JAN/88' . Can anyone shed some light for me, or does anyone know where i can get one. Aloha

Try RockAuto.com. Though most are Remanufactured, with a Core charge. You can get a New one with the Reservoir, for $$165.
I actually tried looking at rockauto and several other sites but i was trying to see if i could get it locally because i didn't want to have to deal with shipping of the core back hassle and what not (i know, that sounds lazy, haha) and wanted to see if any know if earlier model pumps would work. Though right now it seems i may have to go with and online site because everyone i called only carries the To 12/1987 psp.

I helped replace my kids pump out of his 94 and we ended up returning the pump and buying O rings. You just need to clean up the connections really well. Almost a year with no leaks....
Im either going with a gasket seal kit or im gonna just buy another remanufactured pump. I called my local servco just to see and rough estimate on a new pump. I knew already though that it was going to cost an arm and a leg but called to just check, got quoted $616 for a new pump. I laughed when the lady told me that, and so did she haha. I also asked to see if Toyota still had these pump in production and she also said "no". just thought id let everyone know about that but they did still have gasket seal kits and in stock for around $60. So right now im just weighing my options.

Sounds like your options are weighing YOU brochacho!! Seems like an easy decision to just go with replacing o-rings unless you have good reason to believe the problem is bigger.
