'88 making occasional "woo woo" sound in 4wd

My '88 22re is making an occasional "woo woo" sound when the 4wd is engaged. The sound comes from the front right side and isn't a consistent noise, just every once in a while.

I recently had the automatic hubs replaced with Warn manuals, and the front differential fluid was drained and replaced.

Do you guys have any ideas about what this could be?

Did it make the noise before the new hubs were installed?
Does it do it when your in 4WD and the hubs are unlocked?

**not that I heard. But I only had it a few days before swapping hubs, and auto-hubs were shot, so 4wd never engaged before new hubs.

Does it do it when your in 4WD and the hubs are unlocked?
Will try and let you know. I can say that it made the noise this evening while I was driving in 2wd with hubs still locked.

Also, to be more descriptive of the sound. It almost sounds like an air rachet, and seems to be isolated to front right. Thanks for any ideas!

My front end made a sound like what you are discribing and it turned out the spindle housing needed grease.
Spindle Lubricator® for IFS axle shaft. PICTURES! - YotaTech Forums
used this and problem is repaired! Cheap and easy fix!
