Hey all,
I posted a similar thread that I am deleting about a problem I am having with my tranny or clutch.
The truck recently started surging from 2500rpm on (once I hit 2500 rpm in 4th gear the engine revs quite freely)
I have attempted to get the vehicle to slip like this in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th but I cannot, seems to be fine.
In 4th however, as soon as I get to 2500rpm, which is about 50mph, and maintain the throttle, the rpms start to surge up, sometimes stopping and then declining back to normal, sometimes continuing to surge.
Does this sound like the early stages of clutch failure, or do I have a transmission issue, or some other issue?
Is this a familiar issue to anyone?
