I bought my '03 v8 Sport Edition 9 years ago today. It's without a doubt the best vehicle I have ever owned and do not plan on letting go of it anytime soon. I don't post much, but appreciate all of the information on here and thought I would share.

Congrats. I had owned mine for two months by the time you got yours. I remember waiting anxiously for the 'Appearance Package' so that I could get the SR5 without the ugly grey cladding.

Congrats! I understand the sentiment to hang onto it for a long time.

I bought mine 5 years ago this month. I still remember walking into Freeman Toyota of Ft Worth and seeing it sitting in the showroom. For the staff to get it out during business hours so I could test drive it turned out to be quite a fiasco for the dealer.

Ditto! I bought mine about 9.5 years ago and love it more today than i did then.

edit....sorry, my son was talking to me while i was thinking about it.....lol

and no major problems?

Each front caliper was replaced once and the air conditioner relay switch had to be replaced. Other than that, just tires, brakes, wipers, and routine maintenance.

Your paint is in excellent shape...I know from personal experience that keeping a black car looking that good for that many years is like having a second job.

I love the 4th gens so much that if I had the funds I would start collecting them, haven't even had my 08 a year yet but I can't get enough. I don't like the 5th gens nearly as much (the Trail edition is OK), so that's why I want to collect the 4th gens.
