I have a 91 4runner that i lost my brakes due to a rusted out brake line. The brake line runs along the frame to the back of the suv. There is a place right behine the cross member in front of the rear axel that the line has the ability to gather sand, dirt and pebbles that accumulated and stayed wet and allowed the brake line to set in it and rust. I lost my brakes without warning. I was lucky I was right in front of my house when it happened. I feel others will not and want to make sure that everyone is a ware of this problem. I have seen that in Canada they recalled the suv\'s but not in the USA. Does it take someone having to die for the US to also recall these suv\'s?
