92 3.0 no spark

3.0 no spark good coil good ignition module and distributor and efi relay. And ideas why there's no spark? We are about to replace the ecu.

Just saying this because you didnt mention it, did you check the wires? Check all your grounds?

Yep we've checked everything. Grounds powers power to and from the ecu we just aren't getting any signal for the coil to do anything

Anyone? If it helps any its an auto 4x4. I think that we're just going to end up replacing the ecu

I would also check the crank sensor and it's circuit.

Thanks we have. It's supposed to use the sensor in the distributor for spark timing and we got a different distributor and still no spark. We've got a new ECM on the way. We will see..

I recently replaced my ECM... it ran like crap before I replaced it but it did have spark. Seems like I read somewhere that 15-20 year old Toyota trucks are seeing more computer failures lately.
Sounds like that's the only thing you haven't verified.

We have inputs going into the computer but nothing coming out. We've done all tests possible we will know for sure tomorrow though

Well it's not the ECM any other ideas? I know there's lots of other people out there. All relays are working. No check engine light though? Ideas?

This is at work. My boss has been a mechanic for over 35 years we've done everything possible. There has to be a short somewhere. The trucks probably going to get totaled or sold for parts
