i have a 92 with 200,000 miles. When the engine is cold or it has not been started in a while, it starts up easily, but after driving it or letting it idle for about 3-4 minutes it stalls out and will not start, the engine just turns over. I have to let it sit for a while and then it starts back up only to repeat everything. Anybody got any ideas?

Could be the head gasket, with water leaking into the cylinders after the thermostat opens. Happened to me on a civic once. What a pain to replace!

FIXED IT!

it was the circuit opening relay located on right side of the dash board. I pulled it out and it was all corroded so i replaced it and it no longer stalls. thanks for your guys help anyways!

Sounds like you may have a windshield leak on that side. It should not be corroded. The same thing could happen again. Congrats on finding it though. What circuit does that relay open?

it was a relay for the fuel system. exactly what it did im not sure.

but ill have to look around to see if i can find a leak somewhere. thanks!

Circuit

Same problem 1 month ago. Relay works in conjunction with fuel pump. You'll notice it click before your pump starts whinning.
