All right so the other day i was out driving my truck. I stopped at a friends house for a bit and then came back out. My truck was idling very low for it (Below 1000). If I didn't rev it, it stalled. I said what ever drove it around. I stopped 5 or six times for a bit and each time i started it, it was like this. The next day I started it expecting it to do this again, it worked perfect. Just today driving home from work, stopped by a friends house again, truck running perfect on the way there, again i stayed and chatted a bit. When I went to go leave, i attempted to start my truck. The lights came on but when I started it the hole truck went dead. My power locks didn't work, no lights came on. Nothing. Might as well removed the battery from my truck. I sit there doing what I usually do when my truck breaks and stair at it thinking that will fix it. My dad comes to try and give me a jump, still nothing (again like not even having a battery in the truck). We wave a flash light around and nothing. We remove the jumper leads to try and figure out what went wrong with it, I go to grab my keys out of the truck. Magically the lights are working and the truck starts perfect again. We didn't move anything or change anything. It just fixes its self. Any one know what may be causing these issues. They haven't happened before or after, I just don't want them sneaking up on me when I don't have back up to save my idiotic self. Oh and one other thing. My controls for my heater are stuck and the lights don't work at all. There dose not seem to be anything wrong with the lever and I do not know even if or how to possibly fix the lights in there. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yup - I'd go so far as to replace them, copper is cheap and you've got an intermittent short or open somewhere. Next time you're stranded on the side of the road, just start hitting and kicking things until it starts.
