93 runner ?'s....

My buddy just bought a 93 SR5. It's in pretty good shape but it has some things that need to be fixed. I was hoping you guys would be able to help us out.

1- there is a ticking/whining behind the dash. It gets louder as you go faster. Not sure if its a speedo cable or something along those lines. The engine itself does not have the same noise so I don't think its the lifters.

2- the rear window goes down (a little slow) but its needs help going up about the last 5 inches or so. What can we do about that?

3- The rear bumper needs to be replaced....what years are compatible with a 93? Also, does anyone know where we can get one......

So far those are the main things but we are just digging into it now. Thanks for all the help!!!

1 - could be the speedo cable if it is a mechanical speedo, or could be the gauge itself.
2 - try a little grease on the tracks and mechanisms inside.
3 - 90-95 are the same, a stock bumper shouldn't be too hard to find if you search, or a used one from a salvage yard.

Ditto. And add to #2, check the wires for full connectivity and grounding. At the motor, and switch in the back.
