As the title reads I've got a 94 Toyota 4runner its the 4wd V6 3.0. I recently blew one of the head gaskets and I am looking for any tips tricks or advice on the replacement of these. I have already done some work on the top end I replaced the valve gaskets and the intake manifold gasket as well so I know of taking most of the top off but after that I am not to sure what to do after as far as if I should pull the motor out for this or at least lift it out some. Please any tips and advice is welcomed.

I would check with a dealer and make sure the gaskets have or have not been done before. I believe all 94's fall under the HG recall. Won't hurt to check and if so a dealer will do it for FREE!! If they haven't already been done that is.

As far as I know the recall is over and very few dealers will still do it.

You an have my '93 3.0 3VZ-E with 98K original miles, just had the head gaskets redone (along with the whole top end gasket kit) less than 2K miles ago. I'm in Las Cruces, NM so you're not too far. Come get it for $350.

I'm dropping in a 3.4L 5VZ-FE w/ 2nd Gen Supercharger.

If I were closer I'd grab it up
