Hi. I have 2 problems with my 4 Runner. Its a 94 SR5 V6 4x4. First of all, my 4x4 won't disengage and I can't figure out why. Second, my left turn signal is stuck on. When the parking lights or headlights are on, the turn signal is solid. When those lights are off and I attempt to use the signal, it flashes, but it also flashes the parking lights. This just happened while I was driving and I can't figure out how to fix it or what caused it. I'll take any suggestion...thanks.

First if your truck will not go out of 4wd you must check the 4wd solenoid in the transfercase. It might be clogged, stuck, or broke.
Now for the light problem. First of all make sure there are no shorts in the wires. If there are no shorts then you should check the light bulbs. Sometimes when the filament in a dual filament bulb breaks it might short itself out on the other filament causing the problem you have.

As for the 4X4, yes do check the solenoid.
As for the lights, it is probably a ground problem.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, the day after I posted this, my car picked a fight with a guardrail during that big snowstorm, so it is in a body shop at the moment. I must say, there is relatively little damage to the car compared to the accident. I hit the guardrail at about 35 MPH and then scraped along it for about 30-40 feet. I was already stuck in 4 wheel drive so I just drove back to the highway and continued my journey. On the plus side, the light problem fixed itself for a little while, but the 4x4 problem is still a mystery. To see what happens to a 4Runner in this kind of accident, have a look at my car:
