94 Having electrical issues

I can't seem to figure this out and its getting worse. It started with my side marker going out. Thought it was a bulb and replaced it. it worked for a couple days then went out again. Now my battery and brake light come off and on while driving. I had my alternator replaced about 8 month ago. My radio goes in and out and now the worst part.. My headlights both went out at the same time. What is going on???

I'm familiar with the movie.. Anybody have any other ideas? It's really frustrating. I've switched fuses, bulbs and checked for loose wires and can't seem to find anything.

Now my dash lights just went out along with my tail lights. Brake lights still work for now. I'm sure they will go out next. Anybody?? I don't want to pay to have a diag I know there gonna charge me an arm and a leg

I'd start by having the alternator checked out, maybe check the negative side of the battery, have the battery checked out....

Could there be a prob with my alternator? It's new and the truck has plenty of power and volt meter is almost all the way up

You mean the the actual terminal on the battery like I need to replace my battery? The connections to the battery are clean and tight.

Check then double check your ground wires....

Grounds wires seem to be good. I'm gonna have the battery tested at auto zone. If they test it, will they know if the ground terminal is bad?

I finally figured it out today. Alternator went bad again and was overcharging which blew all my lights. Installed a new alternator, new relay, fuses and bulbs and all is good now. Glad my battery didn't blow up! was charging at around 19v!

Yeh, that'll burn some stuff up..... Where did you get it from? I ALWAYS have them tested out of the box before I leave the store.

Gremlins came stock on the 2nd gens. They have a love for electrical stuff, especially the window controls.

It was a refurbished alternator.. I got it replaced with a new one for free
