I drive a 95 4wheel drive, 3.0 V6. Yesterday my oil gauge said I was low on oil, and my temp went up, along with the water in the radiator bubbling A LOT. I was a court low on oil (some how) and the water level in my radiator was fine. I drove another half Hour and it was fine. Later that night I took some back roads, with hills.. and the A/T oil light came on, along with the oil being "low" again and the temp going up. I coasted down some mad hills, and the temps went back to normal, THE OIL WENT BACK TO A NORMAL LEVEL and the light stayed on. I parked, turned the truck off.. EVERYTHING under the hood was HOT. I then turned it back on and the light went off. I let it sit for about 4 hours, drove it home and it did fine.
All of the fluids are full, the thermostat is brand new... radiator has antifreeze.. I am at a loss here. The water pump isn't making any noises.. the timing belt was changed not too long ago. The radiator cap is good.
I have never had so many problems with a vehicle!
