Hey guys,
I have a 95, 4 wheel drive 4runner thats acting up..
The brakes were recently replaced, with new calipers and pads in the front, new shoes in the back, along with new cylinders in the back.
Its been running for a year without problems, but out of nowhere the brakes started clamping up without releasing.. the brakes become very sensitive and the front brakes begin to burn..
the mechanics replaced the calipers and cylinders, they also completely bled the lines... they thought the rear proportional valve was the problem, so they re bracketed it upwards. so, in theory, the brakes should be fine..
but, soon after i drove off the lot, the brakes started clamping again.. i stopped for dinner and drove the car back to the shop, with no problems..
Any ideas what could be causing this problem?
Much appreciated,
Taylor
