Ok so this has been getting on my nerves as it makes long trips horrible...but I had lockup when I first bout the 4Runner...it shortly went out after buying it and to no avail have I been able to get it back..I've replaced all parts with known working parts from my donor. I have replaced the torque converter and all the transmission solnoids. Not sure what else it could be but sort want to figure it out...it's a v6 a/t obviously so any pointers in the right direction would be great...and I do have the donor so parts to swap are easily available.

The computer itself might not be telling the transmission to lockup if that is possible no personal experience with that though.
you replaced the lock-up solenoid and it still don't? that's super weird.
No weird shifting issues? that might be do to fluid pressure caused by the pump itself? this is highly unlikely but this is a strange situation.
