The issue being is that the tail shaft where the rear drive shaft bolts up is loose and sloppy .. I'm figureing there is a bearing in there that may need to be replaced please correct if I am wrong since this is my first yota .. though I'm not so new to 4wds .. anyways .. is there a way to fix this with out dropping and tearing the tcase down or will this be a weekend job?.. I'm not much in a hury but I can't wait to drive it
95 manual tcase issue...

or if some one could maybe tell what tcase it is so I can try and find scamatics for it .. as I said its a 95 it has the 3.0 with an auto trans and manual tcase ... idk if yota use different trannys and tcases with that motor or not so I could use the help help learning about this

I haven't noticed a laek but its real loose I can move it by hand and has a bad vibe when driving felt like a ujoint which I may go ahead and replace those as well ...I havent down loaded anything for it since I know nothin about these things . This is my first yota. When yal say one one piece ya do mean trans and tcase is all one unit correct? .... uforataintly I can't just go look at it, its 2 hour away from me at my moms house cuz I didn't feel safe driving it home and I don't know anyone with a trailer

They're technically two different units, but they're put together as one piece. You'll probably have to drop the entire transmission/transfer case combo and take the whole thing apart in order to get at that bearing.
To me, that's a perfect excuse to swap to a manual trans.

Here is a link for the engine/trans/t-case configurations. I just want to check though when you say the rear output is loose. Is the shaft the only part loose or do you see actual play in the yoke coming out of the case? Take the shaft out and see if you have play in the yoke or if it is just in the shaft. May be loose shaft bolts or trashed u-joint.
All the bolts are tight it the shaft coming out of the tcase that is loose and has play the u joints seem good the boblt on the flange are tight the shaft the comes out of the tcase before you get to the flange where the drive shaft even bolts up... manual swap sound like a good idea but I really ain't tryin to get that into it right now
Is there a possible way I can break into the rear of the case with out having to pull it out of the truck by any cance ... I know ill have to replace fluid regardless and I was readin somewhere on here about what fluid and all to use and all but I'm hoping that I can just pull aprt the rear side of it to see what's going on in there
