What colour should I do?

So I need to figure out a colour for my vehicle. My dad is a graphic designer and he said he will wrap my truck. Plug his company Creativeink Design Group | creativeink.ca, The hood is going to be black. The rims will also be black. I have a couple ideas in the back of my mind. I am thinking toward the trail edition colours both FJ and 4Runner. Here are some...

This is called metallic cement gray



There is the option of black or white but I want something different. I was thinking of a sand colour but it isn't really a colour for my area.

Here are a couple I'm thinking, I like pewter, shale, and charcoal

Exhaust done

So I got my exhaust back from K&K Racing in Stratford. They did a great job. I thought the Cherrybomb Glasspack was bigger in length but the one I got was just a little guy. It sounds quite good and really gets purring in higher rpms. Hopefully I go easy cause gas ain't cheap.

I like the pewter or the shale colors. That sand looks like it might be too light.
 
So I was off school sick today and was thinking about my truck I realized. This truck is more of a trail rig than a nice and clean daily driver. I wanted a vehicle like a lot of the Californian guys have but that's not what this truck is! Is a rusty Canadian truck, with an owner who doesn't have a lot of money so, the plans have changed. I need some advice.

The previous plan was 3" lift with 33" tires, and some nice custom plate bumpers, something like this:



Thanks Bandit... I was thinking more a long the lines of:

3" Suspension Lift - Toytec Lifts
2" Body lift - Toytec Lifts
Tube Bumpers - Cheaper than plate
33"- 35" tires - Used cause I'm poor
Rihno Liner Cargo area
IFS cause I'm poor
With Factory e-Locker

A couple questions:

Will my truck push 35" tires? Stock gearing, not sure which ones.
Is the 3" suspension and 2" body a good lift?

Thanks, give me any suggestions... Kinda sad I don't have a lot of places to wheel.
 
Small Update

So, the list is getting smaller. I have finished the parking brake. Ordered all new parts from Rock Auto. AMAZING SERVICE, ordered Friday and came Tuesday. All the parts is needed for a great price. 30$ for the full set of bellcranks with springs. My brother ordered the cast pieces and they were 60$ so I think I got a deal!

I expected the truck to be home from the school shop but no one except me for and hour worked on it today so it didn't get finished.

The plan for the ABS is to just pull the LED, I don't have time/money to fix it so i'm going to my last resort. I hope to have it on the road soon.

:clap2: I have enough money to order lift and tires soon! Im thinking Toytec Lifts for the lift and Discount Tire for my tires. I was thinking these tires, reasons are:
Price
Good for Mud and Dirt - Common in my area
Pretty good meat to it

What tires are they? I wouldn't cheap out on tires. If they are right over a grand, you might as well dish out an extra 100-200 for some duratracs or some maxis bighorns, or something of the like.

So I have finished my list for the safety. Everything is ready to go so I just have to drop it off at the mechanic. Then I am ready to go, just need to get my license which is in a week!

Can't make up my mind

So, Heres my story...

The place I live, Ontario Canada doesn't have a lot of offroading trails to go to, they all are at least 1-2 hours away, so I will go offroading but not a tonne.

My problem is I want 35's but can't re-gear, I know it limits your power quite a lot but I'm not hugely concerned about that, because our trucks aren't for racing. If I do go to 35's i'll need likie 4" of lift plus spacers and some pinch weld pounding.

But what else do I need, am I going to tear apart my suspension? Will I need a diffdrop and ball joints, ect, ect. Will I need a whole new set up. Or do I say screw it and just do 33's. I think I know what your going to say but I want to check what I'll need to change because of 35's.

Bare Minimum, I know its nice to have tundra brakes and everything but whats the bare minimum to run 35's with out wreaking a bunch of s***
 
Painting Rims

I am in my autoclass this semester so I decided while my truck was there and I needed to change the tires to my brothers for a bit, I would paint my rims. The school has a full auto shop so I was able to shwich out my rims from my tires with the tire mounting machine. They also have a sandblaster! So I was able to fit the rims in there and get all the build up off of them.


Here is rims in their original state:



And here are the rims after sandblasting: (took 30-45min each rim)



I grabbed some regular dupli-colour paint, 2cans of black and 1clear. Just paint for automotive, there was so many choices of paint, but I just grabbed the simplest stuff.

A couple coats:

Here they are mounted and balanced, friggen weights don't look very good! Ill grab some more paint and may spray them, just on the tire.

Overall, I am very happy, the originals looked like s***. I think they will hold up well. They did to the hammer while putting the weights on!

Love the look, makes it much more aggressive.

Have a Problem:

There is massive vibration over 80 km/h the whole truck shakes, as well as the steering wheel. The front end is very jumpy over bumpy roads as well. I'm not sure what is the problem. I believe the vibrations is from my shit tires, which will be fixed. I'm not sure why the front end it so jumpy.
