I have a '97 4runner. Out of nowhere I have problems starting it. Typically when cold I get a single click (not click-click-click). When the 4runner warms up, there isn't any problem starting it. The battery has been replaced and after installing the new battery, the starter & alternator both test good but I am still having the same problem. I replaced the starter relay...no help! What is my next step? I'm on an "unemployed" budget so paying a mechanic will be a last resort. Can anyone help?
