97 sr5 trunk

Hi,

When opening my 97 sr5's trunk, it doesn't open all the way up. It would open up to eye level and I would have to push it up the rest of the way. Is there an easy way to fix this?

you have to replace the lift struts attached to the gate.

nope, i mean you could hook up a pulley and weight system and go that route if you want, but i think replacing the struts would be easiest

try using a broom handle as a gate prop. or just $40 shocks to replace the broken ones that are on there
