97 T4R lift issues

I've recently lifted my 97 4runner. With what I thought was a full kit. Only thing I haven't done yet was put the dif drop in. (Going in this coming weekend). Took it in for an alignment and cv replacement and they said that it's missing LCA relocation brackets. I've never heard of such a part for these.

Has anyone else? If so where can I find them? The wife and kids will be in it the most so i want it as safe as possible. If I'm missing parts if like to get them asap.

Find another alignment shop, there’s no LCA relocation bracket. My best guess is they are referring to some kind of drop bracket typically used to put a massive lift on an ifs brodozer with a set of financed fuel wheels.

Give me a sec, I'm almost positive I know what they're talking about but I can't remember who makes it and gotta dig through the forum. It's part of a weird ass "universal" lift kit for 4Runner and Tacomas I think

Who did you buy your lift kit from OP? Definitely take it to a different tech

I purchased it from SRQ Fab. Spent a few hours looking for such bracket and never found it. It only has 3.5" of lift. So not sure such a bracket would even be needed. My 96 GMC 2500 has 6" of lift and doesn't use them

If it came from SRQ then the tech is full of it and I'd skip to another shop, SRQ only offers actual lift kits, not that hobbled together BS
You'll probably come to find out that finding a good alignment tech after you lift you car can be really hit and miss. Some will have no problem getting them into spec, others will try and tell you it's absolutely impossible unless it's stock and those who say otherwise are liars

If your GMC has a 6 inch suspension lift I guarantee it uses a drop bracket suspension lift.
