I posted this in an old thread but I think it may have been lost. I am installing the dealer-optioned driving/fog lights on my 98. I was able to find them on ebay a few weeks ago and came with everything (lights, relay, fuse, toyota switch, and wires already connected) taken right out of another runner.
My question is this: I have a amplifier installed and the shop that did the installation wired it directly to the fusebox as in the picture below. Can I use this for my power source for the lights as well and put the two on the same connection? It would make for a much cleaner installation than going directly to the battery as in this write-up which is I have been using: 4Runners.org - Installing Hella 500 Driving Lights
Also I plan on grounding it in the spot indicated in the second picture. Thoughts? Nothing is hooked up as of yet but I just put the screw in there and what not to show what I meant.
