Lol, Running boards came off within 2 hours of purchase. This one needs to retain all of the good factory driving characteristics, and probably won't be caught bombing through the woods alongside Doug. However, I am planning on some SCS Wheels, keeping the pictured 265/70/17 tires, doing FJ suspension to level it and lift it about an inch, and then a Thule ski box and some nice speakers. haha Pretty basic but it's going to become our ski/highway shuttle.
2WD in Canada?! Hell no, I dont even think they exist up here! haha Thanks Rob. Mild mild mods... still too much work needed to the Tundy.
Hey Jon! Well for the wife and I...lol The best 4th Gen color IMO. I was pumped when I found it AND it's a Sport Edition which is quite rare. My commuter is a Yaris RS but we will be using the 4Runner if we travel anywhere outside of town. Tundra is good! Needs a bumper as of yesterday though... kinda sorta ripped the factory one off. Somewhere around this time...

Hope your doing well man. I actually had your sticker front and center on my wind fairing... and it got ripped off and lost one day. I had to make another and I was so choked I didnt have the big "Never stop exploring" banner across the top! I'll have to order another from you if your still making them.
As I said above, I'll have to start posting around here again as I get the 4th Gen sorted. I'll have to jump in the photo thread more often too.... as I mentioned above, my brother and a buddy of mine are starting a media business. Mainly getting into commercial and residential real estate video and other short marketing films. I'll share some work once we get our portfolio updated.
Common, the Duster is STILL awesome! hahah Miss that rig for sure.
On a side note, while I was looking for my 4th Gen I actually found a 01' 4Runner in Calgary that is "unofficially" for sale. I found it through a friend of a friend. It has 19,000kms on it. Yes.... thats like 12,000 original miles. It's been sitting in a garage basically it's whole life. I am still debating on picking it up and trying to sell it on eBay. I figure with the US exchange rate at 40% I could make a couple points on the exchange alone... I'm an opportunist I guess. haha
You need to pop through Kelowna sometime and come say hi to her!
The Duster still get lookee-loos constantly. I keep pointing them over to this thread! lol
Also, it'd be cool to meet the man whose work I envied for so long.

The rear screen:
I need to re-work the sticky velcro that is on the weather stripping. The sticky side doesnt stick very well to the weather stripping and therefore rips off when you try to remove the screen. I tried to Gorilla Glue it in place but that doesnt really work either. Next time I'm at the parts store Im going to pick up some weather seal glue, and that should do the trick.
You can see my velcro is sewn to the screen mesh material:

If you could recommend just a few of those products for me to get as a "starter kit" of sorts, which would those be? Just looking for some quick out of the gate improvements, and will then add the more detailed components as time goes on.
